It's Pride Week in the Twin Cities and the Current has your soundtrack! We're featuring songs with pride all weekend long, and if you're out and about find the Current wherever you go. We'll be at Loring Park all weekend long, in the Pride parade, and at Grown and Sexy Pride.

As we were brainstorming topics for this morning's Coffee Break, we remembered that Jay Gabler stopped by the show this week to tell us about Darryl W. Bullock's book David Bowie Made Me Gay, which is a walk through the history of LGBT music in the recorded era.

What LGBTQ artists would you like to hear for today's 9:30 Coffee Break?

Listen all weekend long to hear songs with pride. And you can submit your party anthem requests for Mark Wheat to play today 6-8 pm, but in the meantime...

Respond with your song ideas for LGBTQ artists in the comments below.
