We've got our eye on Static Panic. The Minneapolis trio — producer/vocalist Ro Lorenzen, guitarist/vocalist Keston Wright, and drummer Eli Kapell — released an EP called Chrome earlier this year, and they've been funking up stages around the Twin Cities with their backbeats, overdriven guitar and shiny synths.

This month, Static Panic dropped by The Current's studio to perform a few songs from Chrome, trotting out a talkbox and some wicked grooves.
