Born in Switzerland, Sophie Allison is a Nashville indie rock/pop artist known as Soccer Mommy. Active since 2015, Soccer Mommy's proper debut studio album, Clean came out in March of this year, and it features songs like "Your Dog" that have enjoyed significant airplay on The Current.

Soccer Mommy has toured with the likes of Jay Som, Mitski, Phoebe Bridgers, and Liz Phair, an artist Allison has admired for a long time. "It was amazing," Allison says of meeting Liz Phair. "She was the coolest person ever … I feel like a lot of the time when you have a person that you admire — sometimes, if you were to meet them … they could be totally different and not what you expected, but she was super cool. And the show was amazing, every single night. It was so good."
