Sometimes the good stuff is worth waiting for, right? Late in October, we were lucky enough to get the Milk Carton Kids to drop in to the studio while they were in town to chat and play few tunes from their new record, All The Things That I Did And All The Things That I Didn't Do … or "ATTTIDAATTTIDD" for short. Joey Ryan and Kenneth Pattengale have been the duo the Milk Carton Kids since they began a few years ago, but on their latest record, they went big.

Ryan and Pattengale hired Joe Henry to produce the album, and they added a five-piece band to make the most of their new music. It's a new sound for the duo, and they say it's a new way of thinking about their compositions. During the recording session, a few of the tracks that were keepers were first takes when the band just responded to the music instinctively: sometimes adding, sometimes leaving holes where they were needed. Hence, the title of the album.
