Aaron Aye is poised to make waves nationally

About 18 minutes into our conversation with Aaron Aye, when speaking about his heroes like Prince and Michael Jackson, Aaron said he admired that "they never let what was the norm stop them from being what they needed to be." It's a simple statement, but one that is inspiring to hear from a young artist just getting his start. That willingness to be uncompromisingly singular is what I believe will separate Aaron from the pack in the coming years.
Though Aaron Aye is barely legal to drink, he has already lived a lot of life. Growing up in a single-parent home in Minneapolis and then losing his mom to cancer during his freshman year of high school was a blow that could easily derail someone for decades. But for Aaron, it seems he was able to bottle his mother's enthusiasm and guidance towards striving for greatness into his own life since her passing.
Now poised to make a national wave, Aaron Aye is back in Los Angeles, working with a great production team and angling to bring together the singing and dancing of his hero Michael Jackson with the cadence of modern hip-hop. Dig in for a conversation between Sanni Brown, myself and Aaron Aye.
