This week, Mary Lucia is joined by The Current's Music Assistant, Jesse Wiza, to talk about the burgeoning career of Kacey Musgraves.

Wiza says she had been recommended to listen to Kacey Musgraves album Golden Hour by many people she respects, but it just hadn't been clicking with her. But then Wiza saw Musgraves perform live to a sold-out the Palace Theatre in St. Paul. "It was like, 'OK — she's the Millennial Dolly Parton," Wiza says.

Musgraves has been nominated for four Grammy Awards, and, as Mary Lucia points out, looks a lot like Kyle Richards on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
