What do we mean when we say "sustainer" over at The Current?

Well, a couple of things.

Becoming a sustaining member provides MPR with a reliable source of support. Your sustaining membership is paid automatically each month with a deduction from your checking account, credit or debit card, and it will automatically continue unless you choose to cancel or change it.

BUT ALSO.

For today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear where there is a note that is sustained for a long time by a singer or instrument?
