For what I think is the first time ever, the listeners of The Current and Billboard agree... Billie Eilish is Number One! With sales and streaming figures ranking her debut along side Adele, Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande, with an album apparently created in her bedroom with her brother?!

Billie will also be the biggest female star on stage Saturday at Coachella after Solange dropped out this week. Last weeks #1 Lizzo will be opening her national tour on Sunday in Indio and brand new entries Tame Impala headline Saturday's event, which will be live streamed for the first time.

Up four places to four this week are The Black Keys who also dropped out of a big festival appearance this week, Woodstock 50, August 16 - 18 in Watkins Glen, NY, where they were set to headline along with Miley Cyrus and Imagine Dragons.

Bouncing up seven places to seven The Raconteurs announced a huge world tour this week including July 15 at The Armory. Tickets will go on sale this Friday and in Thursday's Cross Currents we'll have a pre-sale password.

Vampire Weekend are inducted to the Chart Hall of Fame for the fifth time putting them into the Top 30 All Time HOF Chart and Jenny Lewis is inducted for the second time. She'll be our next Micro Show broadcast and is still getting rave reviews for her recent Palace show.

This weekend is MN Music Day on The Current, I'll be doing an all local show Saturday at 10pm. And on Friday we are teaming up with the Minnesota Music Coalition at their Summit at St. Thomas'. I'll introduce Astronautalis and Maria Isa for their keynote speeches at 11am then be on a panel at 1pm. Number Eleven, Amanda Palmer's show at O'Shaughnessy Saturday night is also part of the festivities.

Slipping down nine places are The National who were announced yesterday as the headliners for our big Rock The Garden event this year, June 29th at The Walker Art Center.

Along with Lizzo being on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah Thursday, Jimmy Kimmel Live! has Hozier, back at #19. Every Monday we post the TV highlights on the website.

Making their first ever appearance on our chart at #20 are Cherry Glazerr, currently enjoying their first big European tour in Paris this week, according to their twitter feed. You can enjoy them live from Austin last month.

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win The Current's Neko Case giveaway at the Fitzgerald Theatre in St. Paul, MN on May 1, 2019.
