Today is Earth Day - a day to demonstrate and promote environmental awareness and calls for the protection of our planet.

The theme of 2019's Earth Day is "protect our species" which aims to educate people about the accelerating rate of extinction of millions of species and encourage individual actions such as adopting plant-based diets and stopping pesticide and herbicide use.
