Erik Koskinen's latest album had a different flight plan than his previous records. Burning The Deal is being released this Friday, May 31, and contains several songs that Erik took with him to Brotherlyn Studios in Ojai, California. With the help of producer Bernie Larson, Erik rounded up some top-notch studio players including Greg Leisz, Jennifer Condos and Jay Bellarose. Erik played his new songs for them once; they rehearsed them two or three times and then recorded.

For his album release show this Saturday, June 1, Erik's excellent band will be playing the songs with him at the Turf Club. For a preview, he brought the guys into the studio for a live session on Radio Heartland.
