Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes will be playing solo at The Palace Theatre tonight, on the evening of her solo album release Jaime, and tickets are still available.

It got us thinking about how today in 1970, Diana Ross started a three-week run at No. 1 on the U.S. singles chart with "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" - her first solo No. 1 since leaving The Supremes.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear from musicians that went solo?
