Today is Indigenous Peoples' Day, a holiday that celebrates and honors Native American peoples and commemorates their histories and cultures.

In honor of this day, send us your ideas of musicians you'd like to hear with native heritage, we have some songs planned for you too, and let's listen to some great music while learning along the way.

Another great resource for learning about this topic is RUMBLE: The Indians Who Rocked The World, a 2017 documentary from Independent Lens on PBS that spotlights the lives and work of Native American musicians and their influence on the music you love. Here is Looch's review.
