Today in 1988, Phil Collins started a two-week run at No. 1 on the U.S. singles chart with his cover of "A Groovy Kind Of Love," originally released by the Mindbenders in 1965.

The term "groove" in terms of music dates back to the 1920s jazz scene, and was first found in print in 1946 in an autobiography of jazz saxophonist Mezz Mezzrow and then, interestingly, in advertising spots for the 1947 film 'Miracle on 34th Street'.

It's still used today, sort of...by dorky dads and java programmers.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that mention groovy, groove or groovin'?
