Chris Thile is a mandolin impresario who has wowed audiences far and wide through his performances with Nickel Creek, Punch Brothers and as the host of Live From Here from American Public Media.

On Aug. 27, 2019, Thile was in Minneapolis for a public-radio conference, but he embraced the opportunity to delight an audience of lucky winners with a 30-minute solo #MicroShow set recorded live at the Fine Line.

Thile performed a set of his own music as well as carefully selected covers, and even a piece by J.S. Bach.
