Godfathers of the Americana music scene, Son Volt was founded by Jay Farrar in 1994 following the breakup of Uncle Tupelo.

On Tuesday, Aug. 27, Farrar, accompanied by bandmate Mark Spencer, performed a nine-song Microshow set before an audience of lucky winners at the Fine Line in downtown Minneapolis.

The Microshow Series is produced by The Current with support from New Belgium Brewing.
