Watch singer-songwriter Madison Cunningham perform live at the Palace Theatre in St. Paul, Minn., as she provides the opening set for Calexico and Iron & Wine on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020.

Madison Cunningham is no stranger to the Palace Theatre. In September 2019, Cunningham opened for Andrew Bird at the Palace — and then came back onstage to play guitar and sing backing vocals in Bird's band. Cunningham is also a frequent performer on LIve From Here, heard Sundays at 10 p.m. Central on The Current.

Cunningham grew up in Orange County, California, and began playing guitar at age 7, performing alongside her father — a worship pastor and lifelong musician — at a local church. By 15 years old, Cunningham was writing her own songs, and she's only seen her star rise since then.

Madison Cunningham's latest album is Who Are You Now, released in August 2019 on the esteemed Verve Records label.
