February 27, 2020

Buoyed by fans trying to go to the Lock Inn event at The Ox Bow Hotel Bon Iver is at Number One this week. They are touring Europe after the Eau Claire weekend playing some their biggest shows ever, including at Wembley Arena, which is already sold out! It's probably more important to Justin Vernon that the three shows in Wisconsin before the election are also sold out!

Nathaniel Rateliff was on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night. And the State Theater shows coming on March 3 and 4th are NOT now sold out!

So check this Friday night, if you wanna go to see Atmosphere at The Palace. Sometimes tickets do become available at the last minute. And don't be fashionably late DJ Keezy is spinning beats early on and Lioness is one of the best new local acts I saw last year. Nikki Jean is also on the bill and the track that is at nine. Meanwhile they made a great video tribute to Prince for the "Dearly Beloved" song that we've been playing.

The list of artists doing shows for election campaigns grows longer every week. Jason Isbell, up 4 places to five this week is keeping it local, with Doug Jones in Alabama.

Bethany Consentino from Best Coast got a lot of press last week as the new 'recovery' album rolled out. At #12 this week they'll be at First Ave Monday March 9th.

They were at Rock the Garden 2010 and did a mad in-studio in 2013 now at #20 MGMT are back with a new album coming next month on their own label.

The Strokes also have their own record label now, Cult Records and it's set to drop 'The New Abnormal' their first album in seven years on April 10th. No Twin Cities date as yet. Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta GA, is the closest they're coming so far?!

Stuck at eighteen for the second week Soccer Mommy's new album 'Color Theory' is out Friday and she released another track from it to the web this week. She starts her tour in Atlanta, March 26th, but does hit First Avenue on April 19th.

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win a pair of front row tickets to The Lumineers at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN on March 13, 2020.
