Brittany Howards rockets up the chart this week with the Funkadelic song, "You And Your Folks, Me And My Folks." The Jayhawks also make a big move ahead of their new album coming out on Friday. In his review of the record, Bill DeVille calls the album some of the 'hawks finest yet. Michael Kiwanuka and Ondara hold their positions on the chart at #2 and #3 as Gorillaz enter the Chart Show Hall of Fame after 10 weeks with "Desole feat. Fatoumata Diawara."

The first full week of July brings 5 new entries to the chart along with the return of The Killers, surprisingly re-entering the chart for a 9th week with "Caution." A block of new entries from Chastity Brown, Beyonce, Perfume Genius and Lucinda Williams take over mid-chart positions as Anderson .Paak lands at #20 with the excellent new single, "Lockdown." Future chart movers to watch this week include Dua Saleh with 4 weeks on the move with "Body Cast," and The Current's favorite Kiwis, The Beths, who recently caught up with Jade for a live virutal session.
