October 6 is German-American Day, which celebrates German-American heritage and commemorates the founding of Germantown in 1683.

Germantown is an area in Northwest Philadelphia that has much historical significance as it was the birthplace of the American antislavery movement, the site of a Revolutionary War battle, the temporary residence of George Washington and the location of the first bank of the United States. It was founded by German, Quaker, and Mennonite families in 1683 as an independent borough, then absorbed into Philadelphia in 1854.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that are in German, from Germany, or from bands or artists that have a connection to Germany?
