A message about Rock the Garden 2021
November 11, 2020

This year has created so much uncertainty in the music industry locally and nationally. These uncertainties continue to hit close to home. The Current and The Walker announced on Wednesday there will not be a Rock the Garden in 2021.
After thoughtful consideration of how Rock the Garden could be coordinated and held in the time of COVID-19, the organizations determined that the event in its current form could not be done in a way that would guarantee the safety of community members and artists. From acquiring permits to booking talent, this event requires months of planning by both organizations, with the bulk of the work needing to be done prior to the new year. With an understanding that this would not be feasible in the midst of a pandemic, this was a decision made by both organizations.
The Current and The Walker sincerely hope to Rock the Garden in summer 2022.
