Known best as a country artist, she has composed thousands of songs, and she is also one of the few to have received at least one nomination from the Academy Awards, Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, and Emmy Awards. And most recently, she donated money to help develop a Coronavirus vaccine, and saved a young girl's life on the set of her new Netflix holiday movie "Christmas On The Square". What a gem of a human!
