Are we ready for this heat wave? Have we even adjusted to truly warm weather yet? Have we even put our coats away and our snow boots in the back of the closet? Because this heat is coming for us...

Daytime highs will break records today and run far above average, with much of Minnesota at least 20 degrees higher than it normally is at this time. We should see highs in the 90s across the state, and some parts of Western Minnesota could see a few 100s. And guess what? The heat likely won't let up throughout the weekend, and next week is looking hot too.

But just remember, in the dead of winter when you were scraping your car with freezing eyeballs and cursing your life choices for living in Minnesota...you dreamed of this day. Ok?
