The Twin Cities metro area is under a heat advisory until 11 am and it's going to get worse because that heat advisory will turn to an excessive heat warning at 11 am today until 8 pm, with a high in the upper 90s and a heat index around 102.

We have a chance of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon...but until then, get ready to sweat.
