Lee "Scratch" Perry a renowned visionary Reggae and Dub music producer passed over the weekend at 85. Steve Albini commented on his passing via twitter saying, "I tire of the trope that genius rides shotgun with madness, but few people were as weird or cast as long a shadow as Lee Perry. His records were shocking and became talismans for anybody who ever tried to manifest the sound in their head." His musical innovation will forever be tied to his legacy. During his career, Perry led the Upsetters and collaborated internationally with the Clash, Paul and Linda McCartney, the Beastie Boys and many others.

Let's honor Lee "Scratch" Perry in the way we do best - with music!
