For fun Halloween-themed events in the Twin Cities all week long, check out The Current’s guide: Halloween weekend 2021: Live music and other things to do in Minneapolis and St. Paul and there’s even more seasonal fun in The Current’s Fall Guide. Here’s what we have planned for the week:

Monday, October 25, to Friday, October 29

The Current Morning Show is celebrating Halloween all week long. From Monday until Friday, each 9:30 Coffee Break will have a Halloween theme. There’s also a Pet Costume Showcase hosted on our website. Share your pet in a costume online right here all week long, and we will randomly select one winner to win a prize pack from The Current.

Monday, October 25, to Sunday, October 31

The Rock the Cradle stream is going spooky for the kids between Monday and will be the ultimate Trick-or-Treat soundtrack for Halloween night.

Friday, October 29

Jade has assembled a special Halloween Tonal Recall segment between noon and 1 p.m.

Saturday, October 30

The Saturday theme is Halloween, so listen all day for spooky songs. This includes Jim McGuinn’s Teenage Kicks playlist from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and request the fiercest Halloween party jams for Radio Free Current from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. with Sean McPherson.

The First Annual Hallowhiskey Party at O’Shaughnessy Distilling Co.

O'Shaughnessy Distilling Co., located in Prospect Park next to Surly Brewing, just opened earlier this year and is launching a Halloween tradition. Running from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., the event is free (bring or donate a non-perishable food item for Second Harvest Heartland). It will feature Keeper's Heart Whiskey drinks, food, live music from Muun Bato hosted by Jade, and more! For entry, proof of COVID-19 vaccination (card or photo of card accepted) is required. RSVP on Facebook.

Sunday, October 31

Bill DeVille is embracing the season with a haunted episode of United States of Americana from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. For the rest of the day, Halloween songs will hit the airwaves at least twice every hour.
