Hanukkah began last night - a Jewish holiday also known as the Festival of Lights and the Feast of Dedication that is observed for eight nights and days.
The festival is traditionally observed by lighting the candles of a candelabrum with nine branches, called a Hanukkah menorah.
Last year, Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters producer Greg Kurstin teamed up to release eight songs over eight nights in honor of the holiday. This year they’re back with a cover of Lisa Loeb’s “Stay”. “Welcome back to the menorah, y’all,” he tweeted last night.
