A couple weeks ago, Radio Free Current went all 1970s — and to say we had a blast is an understatement. I heard reports of babies growing full beards, motorcycles starting to rev on their own, and mom jeans turning into bell bottoms simply by being placed near the speakers.

Tonight, we set our sights on the 1980s. This decade is full of music! Both incredible and regrettable! Let’s focus on the incredible stuff. I want to celebrate the blockbuster artists of the 1980s, the overlooked gems, and also the seeds that were planted in the ‘80s. There are so many genres that became commercial juggernauts in the ‘90s that owe their high-water marks artistically to the ‘80s. Chime in with some 80s requests, and let’s have an awesome time. Extra points if you are sporting ‘80s-era gear — because I am!
