Well, this is just exciting to even say. Our album of the week is David Bowie's Toy.

It's part of a deluxe compilation that was recorded in 2000. He entered the studio to lay down new interpretations and remixes of songs that had dated back to 1964 through 1971.

The idea was born out of the 1999 VH1 Storytellers episode in which he was reaching back for pre-Space Oddity career music. Toy is like a moment in time captured with joy and David Bowie's unique energy.
