This week at The Current we take “a heavenly neo-psychedelic roots odyssey” as The Arcs say about their new album, Electrophonic Chronic.

The side project from Dan Auerbach, of the Black Keys, returns with the original crew, including Richard Swift, who sadly passed away in 2018.

The Arcs formed around a bunch of guys who loved getting into the studio together and geeking out over their shared musical passions. The group continues their love affair with vintage soul, garage rock, and ‘60s psych-pop.
