On Tuesday, May 9, singer-songwriter and piano player extraordinaire Ben Folds gave an unforgettable and revelatory Microshow performance at the Turf Club in St. Paul, a venue where Folds last played a Microshow in 2015. During an energetic nine-song set that included several selections from his latest album, What Matters Most, Folds interspersed his set with rich, personal stories behind the new songs.

Also in the set list were several songs from Folds’ back catalogue, including a group sing-along among the audience during “You Don’t Know Me,” conducted by Folds as he played and sang his own part. The audience consisted of lucky winners who had entered for a chance to attend this unique performance.
