Our Album of the Week is Lahai by Sampha.

Sampha is back with this first album in over six years, Lahai. The English musician's sophomore effort is named for his paternal grandfather, and explores the life and many leaps of faith required to truly live it. Lahai sees Sampha taking his production and vocal skills to new heights while using kicks, snares and polyrhythmic synths to evoke a contemporary take on West African folk music. Sampha's Lahai is The Current's Album of the Week.
