The Duluth Masonic Temple hosted the 2024 running of The Current’s Emerging Artists Showcase on Saturday, Jan. 20.
The evening featured performances by two artists selected by curator Aby Wolf, a Twin Cities-based musician. Based in Duluth, Nolen Sellwood is an emerging folk talent who performed with a band of friends. Singer-songwriter carisa, who is based in Madison, Wisconsin, also performed. Both emerging artists also took part in Aby Wolf’s set with her regular collaborator Eric Mayson.
