This Friday to Sunday, May 17 to 19, is Art-A-Whirl weekend in Northeast Minneapolis. Organized by NEMAA — the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association — the three-day event brings together more than 1,200 NEMAA member artists, galleries, and businesses who participate in events at more than 80 locations in Northeast Minneapolis. In addition to spotlighting artists and their works in their own spaces, Art-A-Whirl also includes a ton of live music and a vast array of food and beverage options at the area’s many establishments.

It all starts tomorrow, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get in the spirit a little bit early with a playlist to suit Art-A-Whirl.
