The Chart Show: Franz Ferdinand land second Hall of Fame song
March 13, 2025

Glasgow rockers Franz Ferdinand climb back into the top five for their 10th and final week making "Night Or Day" the first song from their new album, The Human Fear, to enter into the Chart Show Hall of Fame. This is Franz Ferdinand’s second song to be enshrined following “Right Action,” which got the nod back in October of 2013.
Meanwhile, Jack White’s “Archbishop Harold Holmes” retakes No. 1 with the rest of the ranker getting shuffled to make room for big gains by Bob Mould, Cage the Elephant, and “Who Believes In Angels?” by Brandi Carlile & Elton John. Tunde Adebimpe fell off the chart after nine weeks just short of reaching hall-of-fame status. British indie act, Freak Slug’s “Spells” debuts at No. 16 ahead of their visit to the U.S. for SXSW.
