Minnesota Music Month hit a satisfying crescendo with an enviable four-band bill featuring top Twin Cities acts on Friday, April 25, at Amsterdam Bar & Hall in St. Paul.

Introduced by The Local Show host Diane, each set brought high-energy performances, adept songwriting, and a mix of new material and old faves. Bad Bad Hats rolled out music from 2024’s self-titled fourth album, pop-punk quartet Gully Boys rocked some scorching new tracks from their forthcoming debut full-length. Kiss the Tiger cranked out a rollicking set that featured dramatic high-kicks and soaring vocals from frontperson Meghan Kreidler, and Lighter Co. brought the jam-band vibes — aided and abetted by special guests Mike Kota and guitarist Dylan Salfer.
