Paul McCartney to play U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis in October
July 10, 2025

Minnesota Beatles fans, get ready to twist and shout: Paul McCartney will be playing U.S. Bank Stadium this fall.
The music icon announced his “Got Back 2025” tour on Thursday morning, with 19 shows across the U.S. and Canada — including Oct. 17 in Minneapolis.
Organizers announced the show during a news conference at U.S. Bank Stadium on Thursday morning. Live Nation Minnesota President Josh Lacey called it one of the most important shows to come to the stadium.
“As a massive music fan and a member of our amazing Twin Cities concert community, today’s a pinch-yourself kind of day for me,” Lacey said.
McCartney and his band will be on the run to other concert dates near Minnesota, too. The tour includes an Oct. 14 show in Des Moines, Iowa, and a pair of shows — Nov. 24 and 25 — in Chicago, among other stops.
General tickets for the concerts will go on sale on July 18. Pre-sales begin July 15. Ticket prices were not announced Thursday. More details here.
It’s been a long and winding road since McCartney, 83, last performed in Minnesota. He held a concert at Target Center in 2016, and played at Target Field in 2014.
