Minnesota Yacht Club was arguably Minnesota’s biggest weekend of live popular music with three packed days of entertainment at St. Paul’s Harriet Island. The music festival, which took place on two stages near the Mississippi River, is in its second year.

On Saturday, July 19, pop-punk energy came through in sets by Fall Out Boy, Weezer, and Twin Cities-based Motion City Soundtrack, who had to perform without ailing frontman Justin Pierre. Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump, Nadira McGill and Kathy Callahan from Gully Boys, and local singer-songwriter Ber were among the artists who filled in for Pierre. Other artists for the day with Minnesota ties included Cory Wong (assisted by Remi Wolf to cover Rufus and Chaka Kahn’s “Tell Me Something Good”), Raffaella, and Laamar.

The schedule also featured Remi Wolf’s own set (featuring a cover of "Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac), O.A.R., Silversun Pickups, and Jake Clemons.
