Los Angeles-based Shane Michael Boose, who performs under the moniker sombr, is a 20-year-old singer and songwriter. Based upon the TikTok success of “Back to Friends,” he has seen his fanbase grow dramatically in 2025. In front of a packed crowd at Palace Theatre in St. Paul on Tuesday, Sept. 30, sombr performed songs from his debut album, I Barely Know Her. Opening up was singer-songwriter Devon Gabriella, who is touring in support of her second EP, The Garden.
