A couple of gifted, introspective songwriters engaged the crowd with just voice and guitar at the 7th St Entry in Minneapolis on Monday, Oct. 27.

The headliner was Nashville-based singer-songwriter Madi Diaz, who just released her acclaimed seventh album, Fatal Optimist, on Oct. 10. The album mainly features a stripped-down approach to carry the messages.

Those who arrived early caught the rising Georgia-based singer-songwriter Clover County, who released her debut album, Finer Things, on Sept. 26. The album features the breakout song “Virginia Slim.”
