Friday night in St. Paul, Icelandic indie-folk rockers Of Monsters and Men played the first of two nights at the Palace Theatre. The concerts followed the Oct. 17 release of Of Monsters and Men’s fourth album, All Is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade, the band’s first full-length since Fever Dream was released six years ago.

Before Of Monsters and Men’s set, fellow Icelandic artist Arny Margret performed an opening set. The singer-songwriter released her debut album, they only talk about the weather, back in 2022. Margret followed that up with I Miss You, I Do, which released this past March. For the latter release, Margret worked with producers Josh Kaufman, Andrew Berlin, Brad Cook, and with her longtime Icelandic creative partner, Kiddi Jónsson.
