There are still more than nine months until the next Great Minnesota Get-Together, but that hasn’t stopped the Minnesota State Fair from planning its annual Grandstand shows.

The first show was announced Monday as “Weird Al” Yankovic with special guest Puddles Pity Party. The show is a part of Yankovic’s Bigger & Weirder Tour, which has 90 stops in North America. The Aug. 28 show at the State Fair is sponsored by Sleep Number.

Tickets go on sale Nov. 21, and range from $54 to $89.25 for reserved seating and $74 to $87.75 for the party deck. They can be purchased through at etix.com or by calling 800-514-3849.

Yankovic first performed at the State Fair in 1987 when he opened for The Monkees and has returned several times over the years for fairgoers.

The 2026 Minnesota State Fair will run from Aug. 27 to Sept. 7.
