Chicago indie-rock band Ratboys performed an intimate MicroShow at Cloudland in Minneapolis on Tuesday, Nov. 18. The show follows the release of a new single, “Light Night Mountains All That,” which arrived in September. The group recently signed to New West Records, and worked with producer Chris Walla (formerly of Death Cab for Cutie) on the track.

After an intro by The Current host Gannon Hanevold, singer/guitarist Julia Steiner, drummer Marcus Nuccio, guitarist Dave Sagan, and bassist Sean Neumann brought out a powerful sound to the packed crowd. The set featured several unreleased tracks, as well as the title track their 2023 standout album, The Window.

This win-to-attend event was supported by Voodoo Ranger.
