Poliça began the process of building their next album — this time in front of an audience. Wednesday, Feb. 4, was the kickoff of a three-show Practice as a Show residency at Icehouse in Minneapolis. The night began with some familiar tracks from the band’s catalog before they began venturing into the unknown. Lead singer and multi-instrumentalist Channy Leaneagh, Alex Nutter on synth/electronics, bassist Isaac Levy, and drummers Ben Ivascu and Drew Christopherson moved through a variety of configurations throughout the evening, while producer Ryan Olson worked offstage.
