Around 100,000 attended the St. Paul flagship “No Kings” rally on Saturday, according to numbers reported by the Minnesota State Patrol. Organizers of the event said they think the number of attendees is closer to 200,000.
Among the speeches by political leaders, local activists and community members were performances by a number of local and national musicians. Local acts such as Venus DeMars and Secret Rivers shared the bill with Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez, Maggie Rogers and Tom Morello.
