Kelsey is music assistant and on-air overnight host at The Current. Although she's happy to call Minnesota home, Kelsey is a Wisconsinite at heart and hails from Milwaukee by way of Madison. Before her time at The Current, she served as program director at WSUM, the student radio station at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Communication Arts with an emphasis on Film, TV and Radio. Kelsey likes to find new music that is just nostalgic enough to keep her wishing that her life were slightly more akin to a John Hughes film. A healthy mix of good old-fashioned rock 'n' roll and synthy pop music usually does the trick.
