My true love for music blossomed from my love of vinyl. I became a vinyl record enthusiast at a young age and worked at a record store all throughout my teen years. As my record collection grew, so did my passion for the music industry. A few of my personal idols include Brian Epstein, Cameron Crowe, and every sound engineer at a local music venue. I’m originally from a small town in Illinois and received a B.A. from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. My radio experience includes managing my college radio station and working as a producer at KBEA and KIIK in the Quad Cities, and MyTalk and ESPN 1500 right here in the Twin Cities. I am a sucker for a handwritten personalized playlist and keep a digital file of every demo track a friend has ever sent me. In my free time I like to run, hang out with my dog Gus, and watch terrible reality TV.
