Born and raised in Minneapolis, Sheila Regan has worked as a journalist and arts writer in the Twin Cities since 2008 after a previous life working in theater as an actor and playwright in Minneapolis and Chicago. Her other arts writing can be found at the Star Tribune, where she writes about dance, and the Pioneer Press, where she writes about classical music. She also contributes radio pieces for KFAI's Minneculture program. In addition, Sheila's byline has reached beyond Minnesota, including the Washington Post, the Guardian, Salon, and HuffPost. National and international arts publications she has written for include The Art Newspaper, Artnet News, Hyperallergic, ArtForum, First American Art Magazine, and Bomb.
