Revelers ditched the summer heat at the Unsanctioned Series event held at Familia Skateboard Shop in northeast Minneapolis. The outdoor party, put on by Fat Tire and Street Factory Media, featured three on-site pools and music from Attracted to Gods, The 4onthefloor, and DJ Eylxr.

The alt-rock legends performed a throwback set featuring two classic albums on Thursday evening at Palace Theatre in St. Paul. The show included a track-by-track dig into the band’s 1990 album Bossanova followed by 1991’s Trompe le Monde in its entirety. Kurt Vile + The Violators opened up.
