The Kills — the rock duo comprising Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart — released their sixth studio album, God Games, in October 2023. Mosshart and Hince visited The Current to play songs from the record and to chat with host Jill Riley.

Originally from Minnesota, the Los Angeles based ill peach visited The Current studio to play songs from their debut album, ‘This Is Not An Exit,’ and to talk with host Ayisha Jaffer.

Wisconsin-originated and classically trained musician Joyann Parker came to the blues, jazz and gospel music later in life, but she celebrates it with gusto on her new album, “Roots.” Parker and her band visited The Current studio for a session hosted by Radio Heartland’s Mike Pengra.

Singer-songwriter Amber Bain — known by the musical moniker The Japanese House — performs songs from the new album, ‘In the End It Always Does.’ Afterwards, Bain chats with host Mac Wilson about songs, relationships, and perhaps most importantly, dachshunds.
