Halfway through a very busy tour for her album, 'Highway Queen,' Nikki Lane stopped at The Current for an in-studio session hosted by Bill DeVille. Lane plays three songs from the album and talks a bit about being called the First Lady of Outlaw Country. 'I think in general, musical cannot be described in words, especially in one word,' Lane says, 'but I am kind of outlaw and I am kind of Americana, and I think a lot of other people are too that don't sound just like Waylon Jennings.'
